Life, Love & Ludicrosity
About
Within these pages, you'll find subjects from the heartfelt to the absurd, from an author with seven decades of life to draw from. I've included a few of my original photos, too, where the pieces were based on them.
Whether you enjoy a Shakesperean sonnet, free verse, or crazy limericks, you'll find something to suit your taste. You might shed a tear or two, and there's a good chance you'll laugh out loud. More books are on the horizon, so grab this first title today!
Praise for this book
As I've come to appreciate poetry later in my life, I often gravitate toward pieces that pair an authentic and genuine voice with creativity, and these poems hit the mark. The author infuses his love for his family, photography and life in general into this thoughtful collection. I enjoyed it immensely :)
With "Life, Love & Ludicrosity", Dana has produced an easy-to-get-lost-in collection of poetry that does exactly as it promises to in that title. There is so much love for the craft, his family and friends, and nature and life itself. A lot of life is explored from birth to death and everything in between, and there is an exceptional amount of ludicrosity.
If you are a fan of Dana's work or have yet to delve deep into it, this is a great way to get started. There's poems about gravy, the aforementioned chicken, dreaming big, love, dinosaurs and so much more. #
You'll laugh, possibly cry, roll your eyes, and still be making Vincent Price impressions for days.
Beautifully written and the photographs really made it feel special and personal. Wonderful!
